The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebrations – Preschool

Preschool how quickly has that half term gone!? And haven't we learned a lot!?

This week was no exception as we have had a wonderful week learning about the Queen. We discovered her face on stamps and coins, learned that she has many homes and built her a new home, painted her portrait, made crowns and decorated flags and bunting. Please see our Jubilee fact board in the photos to find out a little more about our learning.

Our learning came together today as we celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. We enjoyed a tea party in Preschool, a picnic lunch on the field with the rest of the school, sang our Jubilee song to the rest of school and joined in with singing the National Anthem.

How wonderful to have been a part of this very special event.

Now it is time to rest for the half term break, you definitely deserve it!
