TA SEN Support 1:1 Role

To start:Tues 7th Jan 2025
Grade/Salary: Grade 4 SCP 4 actual salary £8,143.44 Location: Wybunbury, Nantwich. CW5 7NE
Contract: Temporary until 31.8.25 in the first instance. Linked to a named child.
Hours: 15 hours per week. Mon-Fri 12.20pm-3.20pm Term time only (38 weeks)
DBS Check: Enhanced

An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic, thriving school team to support a child for the afternoons in our Year 2 class.

As part of our dedicated team, you will be supported by the Teachers, other Teaching Assistants and the wider school team, dealing with a wide range of tasks including helping to deliver planned lessons, interactions and engaging with the children; deliver interventions to individuals or groups; provide personal care and communicate with parents, carers and professionals.

The post will be based in Year 2 but an ability to be flexible to work across the school is desirable.

Ideally, candidates should have prior experience of working in a school and should be prepared to discuss past experience at interview.

Please make reference in your letter of application to your experience and qualifications, a recognised level 3+ qualification is desirable for this role.

Job DescriptionPerson Specification

Midday Assistant

The Governors of Wybunbury Delves CE Primary School, Cheshire, would like to appoint a midday assistant for our wonderful school.
Start date: Monday 11th November

1 hour a day, Monday to Friday 11.45-12.45pm Term time only.

The post requires you to assist with lunch time duties and/or playtime supervison. With training there will be opportunity to offer basic first aid to pupils who need it. The most important part of the role is to ensure the children have as much fun and care as possible.

Must have a love of children, a good sense of humour and enjoy working as part of a team.

Because this role involves working with children, any appointment will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check, reference check and evidence of the right to work in the UK.

Job share will be considered.

There is potential for casual hours in our Wrap Around Care club, before and after school as required.
