Welcome to Year 4...
Year 4 is taught by Mr Dale with learning support being provided by Miss Holland...
For the next few weeks, we will be learning all about the environment and technology! That's right! We will be delving into the past and will discover some amazing facts, gruesome tales and explore our local Tudor town of Nantwich
During the term, we will be researching renewable energy, designing robots, creating stop motion animation, learning about the history of technology and we will even create our own tasty dishes in DT!
You can view our Holistic Plan here for more information about the exciting learning ahead within this term!
You can also view our newsletter here, this will tell you lots more about the exciting term ahead, as well as key COVID19 information for our class...
I am very excited about our new topic and I hope you are too. Remember to keep working hard, keep being resilient and keep trying your best because that's what is most important.
To help you be organised for the week, you need to know that your P.E. lessons will be taking place on a Tuesday and Friday for 1 hour with Miss Jenkins and an hour with myself and Miss McCurrie. Please come into school in your P.E kit (you can stay in your kit all day). If for any reason P.E is on a different day, I will inform parents via email in plenty of time.
Homework will be set and discussed every Friday.
Weekly SPaG homework will be set via SPaG.com. This will support classroom learning from that week.
TT Rockstars can be used to boost your times table knowledge!
Please record all reading in your reading diaries every week. Remember that every time you read you record it in your diary. Please bring in your reading wallets (reading records, read aloud books and response books) each day. You will continue to answer your questions at home.
You can also try and read as many of the reading challenge books as you can! You can review this on our brand new reading website! Our website is — www.y4reading.weebly.com
