What a lovely sunny week we have had!
In English this week you have completed both reading assessments and completed your hot writes all about the Pyramids of Giza! Well done Year 3!
In maths this week you have completed both of your maths tests and had fun on TT rock stars and other maths games as a treat for working so hard in your tests!
In RE, you looked at the final part that Peter plays in the Easter Story. Jesus asks Peter three times “do you love me?” Jesus forgives Peter for denying him and asks him to create the first church. You retold the story in our RE books.
In your music lesson you looked at the composer Andrew Lloyd Webber. In RE we are looking at the last supper and the Easter Story. We liked this music, it was dramatic and firey.
In HeartSmart this week you looked at what an emergency is and who to call when there is an emergency.
This week we continued to create our posters for our courageous advocacy and looked at what we wanted to create next week using plastic bottles.
In Science you explored what a magnet was and different things that are magnetic and aren’t magnetic. Firstly you predicted what would and wouldn’t be magnetic and then used a magnet to investigate these items.
In geography this week you explored what Egypt’s climate is like in comparison with the UK’s climate!
In DT we further explored the split pins. You created your paper version of your moveable Egyptian god or goddess.
In PE this week you have been athletes jumping over hurdles and you’ve been hockey players mastering your dribbling techniques!
Homework will be set on Maths.co.uk this week.
I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend and enjoying the sunshine! See you on Monday for our last week before the Easter holidays.
