Y3 and Y5 wet felting session

Year 3 and Year 5 enjoyed a wet feeling session this half term.. They used wool to design their picture and used different colours to create their final image. The motto was be gentle, use little amounts and use different directions when applying the wool. They then had to spray the wool with warm water to encourage the fibres to stick together! Year 3 created an Egyptian landscape with pyramids, the sun, the river Nile and desert. Y5 created pictures of Medusa. We worked hard to include all the details of her face, and we made sure we created lots of snakes for her hair using green felt. Lots of fun was had but then we had to do the hard job of waiting for them to dry fully so we could see the final creations!
