Year 1 and 2 Messy Church

Today Year 1 and 2 headed down to St Chads Church to take part in a series of Messy Church activities. We thought about the message of Harvest as we shared a song with our parents and carers.

We then spent time enjoying each activity to reflect on the wonderful time that is Harvest. It was fantastic to see all of the families together and children having so much fun when doing their activities. We had a quiet story section, as well as autumn leaf crowns! It was such a special day and a fantastic celebration had by all.

A huge thank you to Mrs Ward, whose wonderful ideas and preparation allowed us all to have a lovely time.

We'd also like to take the time to thank all the parents and carers that came along – thank you for your support.

Each child took home a bag of all the amazing things they had created.
