Year 1/2 theme day

Today, Year 1 and 2 shared a brilliant toy-themed topic day. Our day started off full of craft and fun as we made toy-inspired designs and had a fantastic toy-based P.E. session with Mr. Pascoe.

After a windy break time, we completed our DT projects, including racing our cars – it was super fun! Year 1 and 2 then joined forces to complete craft and play our board games with each other. We loved sharing our toys and games with each other.

It was then time to take part in our teddy bear picnic. We enjoyed sitting on our blankets with our teddies and tasting some yummy food!

Our afternoon was filled with play, films, and laughter. What a fantastic day we had!

A huge thank you to all of our families for all of the food for our buffet, our outfits and games. We had so much food we’ve even got some for our party day tomorrow as well.
