This week...

Monday- Let your Light Shine! Matthew 5: 16. Year 6 began our week with our Celebration Worship. Who were our winners this week for house points, Headteacher awards and Guardian Angels?

Tuesday- Reverend Alison led our worship today.

Wednesday – Continuing with people Jesus met in our Fruits and Shoots worship, we explored the story of when Jesus was tempted by the devil. His dignified reactions and steadfast belief in God's purpose for him teach us to 'Act justly, walk humbly, love mercy .' Micah 6-8

Thursday- today we stayed in the same book as last week's journey through God's big story The Book of Judges. The book of Judges is not about Judges, as we know them today. The judges were a group of leaders who rescued God's people. Today we heard about Samson.
We thought about things which might weigh us down or our worries and we asked God for strength to help us.

Dear God
Thank you for the story of Samson, help us to be strong to do what is right, when we are worried give us the strength and courage to ask for help. Help us to be brave to stand against what is wrong and kind to those who need our help
Amen

Friday – Year 4 led worship for us in school and their families. Showing how they are becoming courageous advocates or champions for mental health and well being.
