Year 5 News: VE Day

This week we have all been busy preparing for the wonderful celebrations that took place yesterday to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

You made and hung bunting, crafted and created invitations and baked and prepared a feast fit for the queen herself. From the pictures, it looked like you all had a fab time too!

For English, you were tasked with finding out about VE Day and you presented your findings beautifully.

In Maths, we've been learning about the place value of decimals (not VE Day themed unfortunately). It was tricky at times this week, but you did it.
