PE News
Well done everyone! We've completed our penultimate week of term one!
The weather is still being very kind to us but it's important that we come prepared with a waterproof coat and a black hoody!
We all had a rugby focus this week.
Year 1 practised throwing and catching in a sideways position then had a little race to see which team could pick up and put down the most rugby balls. As the rain came down heavier we moved inside and finished off with a cosmic kids yoga to warm up again.
Year 3 worked in teams to complete four stations. Sideways passing and catching, ball pick up/put down shuttle runs, tag collection (collecting as many tags as possible) and around the world (passing the ball around the body as many times as possible).
Year 6 completed the same four stations but recorded their scores individually. The top eight scores will go forward to represent the school in the school games virtual tag rugby competition.
Well done again to Bella who received her certificate and prize for completing her personal challenge booklet! I wonder if any more will be finished before half term?
Have a lovely weekend.
