Our second week of two halves has taken place with lots of activities being completed. It has been great to see everyone in school and to also see your home learning still going strong. I am super proud of both my school learners and my home learners.
In Maths this week we have worked on fractions of amounts and percentages of amounts and used our learning to become fluent in both. We have completed many maths starters and kept our four operation knowledge in tip top condition. You are all stars and your dedication is admirable.
In English this week we have focused on different animals, their diet and habitats. We have also used time in school to think about rules and laws to live successfully in society. We have practised and recorded our leavers service words and I have tried hard not to cry!! Super week of learning Y6.
We have completed different activities in our Sock Olympics and created an imaginative piece of Kandinsky artwork. We have also had the opportunity to enjoy our daily worship, mindful activities and a quiz or two.
We have set different tasks for each other to complete this week. We have spotted the difference, found different countries and continents, completed quick maths, drawn a picture within a minute and even challenged each other with the plank! We have used our resilience, we have laughed until our sides have hurt and we have collapsed in a heap!
All that is left to say is to have a wonderful weekend and know that I am super proud of you all.
