Happy Easter Preschool

Home » News » Happy Easter Preschool

Our final week of the spring term has been spent together enjoying the sunshine and having lots of Easter fun!

We have made flying Easter bunnies, baked chocolate Easter nests, designed an Easter egg, took part in an egg and spoon race and today we enjoyed a egg hunt!

In our personal, social and emotional development, we explored emotions. We looked at different emojis and discussed what emotion the pictures demonstrated, sad, happy, worried, scared, shocked, excited then we talked about what makes us feel a certain emoji. For the negative emotions, we thought about what we could do when we feel that way. Boris says "It's ok to feel sad or mad sometimes, it's what we do then that matters.

We have continued to talk about differences and similarities between different texts based on the story The Three Little Pigs as part of our literacy and communication and language development.

We have continued to explore signs of new life at Easter time as part of our understanding of the world development and I hope your families enjoyed watching our very special video!

All that is left to say is thank you for another wonderful week. Have a lovely Easter break and I look forward to seeing you refreshed for another busy half term ahead on Monday 16th April.
