Are you up for a challenge? CDAT hope you are! As they would like all of our children to enter at least one of these competitions before the end of the school year.
There are 6 competitions you could participate in.
CDAT Map: Your challenge is to design an illustrated map which shows the Diocese of Chester and pinpoints all of the CDAT schools.
Heroes Project: Your challenge is to create a unique and innovative project to celebrate a hero's work and legacy. This could be a poster, a video, a song – the possibilities are endless! Your hero could be someone from the past or someone who is achieving great things today. It could be someone well-known or someone more local.
'Life in all its fullness': Design your own piece of art work in the style of Hannah Dunnett which shows your school and includes descriptive phrases. Please include the bible verse: 'Jesus said 'I have come that you may have life in all its fullness' (John 10:10)
The Future in our Hands: During this pandemic, we have seen some amazing people make a real difference. Your challenge is to design a solution that could change our world for the better. This could be something to help combat poverty, disease, and hunger, reduce pollution
and climate change, promote good health and wellbeing or even create sustainable cities and communities of the future.
Poetry: Become a poet and write a haiku about prayer. A haiku is a three lined poem with just seventeen syllables; five in the first line; seven in the second line and five in the third line.
The World Outside My Window: Create a piece of art, dance or music to celebrate 'the world beyond my window.'
More information about each competition can be found here. We will upload the competition details onto SeeSaw and Tapestry too.
Please try and enter at least one! But you could do them all!
Please send all projects in to firstname.lastname@example.org by 10th July. Winners will be announced on 17th July. Please upload your entries onto your Tapestry or SeeSaw account too and we can see what you have been doing!
