Year 6 Highlights of our Week – 6.2.26

Another busy week with plenty of curriculum covered. You have focused on many different areas of learning,
and you have worked hard to produce great pieces of work. Well done Year 6.

In Maths, we have been working with decimals by multiplying them, dividing them and turning remainders into equivalent fractions. We ended our week sitting an Arithmetic paper and even had time to analyse those tricky questions. Fabulous job.

In English, we have planned and begun to write our Darwin and Fitzroy adventures. We are well underway and will complete this piece next week.

I think your standout moment this week Year 6 has been designing your DT floorplans which I know you are now very excited to begin constructing. We will get going on the building stage of our playground structures next week.

Other areas of our learning have included… Forest Schools, PE, RE, AYLA, Music, Computing, Spellings and being amazing role models during our time with our important visitors. A brilliant week!
