Year 5 News 23.01.26

We have had another amazing week of learning in Year 5. In our English lessons, we have been producing some writing linked to our text – we have written an extract summary, explored the example text and written a character description for Watson. In our Maths learning, we have focused on doubling, halving and using partitioning to mentally multiply.

We have also enjoyed lessons in Computing, Art, Heartsmart, PE, History, Science and RE this week.

Our special moment to share from this week is definitley Art! In our second Art lesson this term, we went outside an foraged for resources to use to inspire our typography designs. Alongside many other resources, we reminded ourselves of mark making from Autumn term and created wonderful designs for different letters. Take a look at some of our amazing work in the photos!
