What a week we have had. We have been out and about and enjoyed all our time as a Year 6 team. From Primary College to Wybunbury Tower- we have loved it all. It has flown by and now means there is only one week left of Year 6 and we will be sure to make it another week of memory making from our Leavers Service to spending time with our buddies at the Moss.
We have used some of our curriculum time this week to complete our puberty lessons. We have taken part in four lessons. We explored the emotional and physical changes that occur during puberty in lesson 1 and 2. In lesson 3 we learnt more about male and female puberty changes where this lesson went into more detail. Our final lesson explored the impact of puberty on the body and the importance of physical hygiene. I am so proud of the way you thought carefully about the questions you wanted to ask and about the way you entered into our class discussions.
We are thinking about our leavers service at the moment. We are all busy learning our words in readiness for Thursday at 1.30pm in Church. Bring tissues and we hope to see you there.
We have managed to squeeze in other lessons this week from english to computing, french to music and we have continued to make our chair sculptures in art. We have enjoyed using Tinkercad to create our own designs. We have also managed to fit in a PE lesson with Mrs Whittingham. We have also spent time in the shade with our buddies and we are looking forward to our final session with them at Wybunbury Moss.
My last bit of information is to say that I have sent out reports, including SATs results and I hope you enjoy sharing them as a family. Everyone has worked so hard in Year 6 and I am bursting with pride for each of you.
Have a fabulous weekend.
