Gosh how this week had flown by!!
This week we have been busy preparing for our Christmas service! Practicing all our wonderful songs.
In English this week you have explored fronted adverbials further and created a paragraph which had to include a fronted adverbial. You did so well! You then wrote an all about forest school and what you did during forest school. I gave you the challenge to see if you could add a fronted adverbial to this too!
In maths, you explored the 8 times table and how we can use multiplication and division facts to help us answer different questions.
In the afternoon, you explored magnets and how they have two poles. You got to explore the magnets yourself and how when you put two of the same poles together they repel. You completed lots of different study work pages. In RE, we had our assessment piece where you created a booklet about why there are different Christmas stories! In geography we explore coordinates.
In forest school, you created your own creature out of clay! We had a lot of snowmen, some snakes and a hedgehog! What a random selection! You then practiced your archery skills and loaded the bow yourself for the very first time!
I cannot wait for a Christmas week next week! Have a lovely weekend! I have had snow today!
