Another sunny week filled with learning and fun!

In English this week, you explored our model text more looking at different features of it. Then you spend 2 lessons researching hydropower for your shared write. You learnt so much about hydropower!

In maths you started your new unit on time, you explored months of the year, hours in the day and estimating time from looking at the hour hand!

You also explore many different things in our afternoon lessons.

In geography, you looked at urban and rural settlements and why someone might want to live there.

In science, you looked at your clients and explored how they can be improve their diet and life style.

In art, you started to create your final piece for our study work!

In PE you practiced all the skills for sports day!

In heart smart we then moved on to be ‘shame detectives.’ We collated two sets of statements. One set linked to thoughts we may have when we experience shame, and the other set we can say to ourselves to counteract these with ‘true thoughts.’ Bible Reference – ‘And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.’ Romans 5:5
