Welcome back to our last half term together! I hope you all had a lovely holiday and that you managed to spend some time in the lovely sunshine.
On Monday, it was back to home learning, and in Maths this week we have been learning how to multiply and divide by 10, 100 and 1000. You learnt how how the digits of a number move up or down the place value chart. You learnt how the digits jump over the grumpy decimal, and how zero is the only digit you're allowed to add in because it is a place holder.
In English, you told me about one of your favorite celebrations by writing a recount, and at the end of the week you created a fact file about the the Islamic celebration Eid-al-Fitr. You did some beautiful work everybody. Well done.
Our afternoons were all about celebrations too, and there was a fun science activity linked to making pancakes.
Hope you're having a fabulous weekend,
