VE Day - Preschool News
Preschool, this week you have been busy preparing for your VE day celebrations. You have created bunting, baked cakes, decorated stones and learnt the words for the song 'We'll Meet Again'. Yesterday all your preparations came together as many of you hosted your own tea parties.
In literacy, you have created invitations and have found out about VE day. Some of you spoke to grandparents to ask them how they celebrated 75 years ago. You also continued with your phonics and dough disco sessions.
In mathematics you explored the ordinal relationship between one, two and three and have worked on using a stem sentence to capture these relationships e.g: "Two is bigger than one" "One is first" — great job everybody!
I hope you had a lovely day celebrating yesterday. Enjoy the sunshine and I will see you all (virtually) on Monday.
Take care,
Tara x
