Another super week of hard work, resilience and amazing performances in PE!
Year 1 have continued their gymnastic unit on balancing and spinning on points and patches. They built on last weeks work by adding travel into their sequences.
Year 2 carried on their Space dance to Oxygene 4 by Jean Michele Jarre. They focussed on how things would move in space and then thought about how to choreograph the beginning of dance.
Year 3 started an Outdoor Adventurous Activity unit with an indoor activity. The weather wasn't kind to us so we completed a map symbols puzzle and had a go, in teams, at solving the human knot! Please make sure that children have leggings/jumpers/tracksuits as we will be outside as often as possible.
Year 4 have continued their gymnastics unit. They have added to last week's short sequences involving balances and spins by transferring some of their ideas on to small apparatus.
Year 5 have carried on their dance unit based on the Victorians. They added to their short dance to a count of 40, by including travelling using different levels and pathways. They listened to the timing of the music and changed the speed of their movements to match.
Year 6 continued Health Related Fitness by completing their first round of shuttle runs. They also completed another Joe Wicks Hiit session and they had a mini competition to see who was super flexible and could touch their knees with their head!
Well done everyone, lots of hard work allround!
Have a lovely weekend.
