Signs of autumn – Preschool News 17.09.21

We have had a wonderful week exploring signs of autumn..

We shared the story 'Autumn' by Ailie Busby each day then excitedly collected our baskets to go in search for signs of autumn in our outdoor environment. We found "Leaves, brown", "Acorns", "Red berries", "Look, lots of apples", "Green pears"," The leaves have fallen from the trees". Once back in Preschool we sorted our autumn finds into colours, printed with apples and pears, created a leaf collage and used a needle to thread to create a leaf – haven't we been busy!

We are looking forward to exploring autumn further next week and we can't wait to use our apples to bake apple crumble – yum!
