What a lovely first week of term we have had in Preschool!

It has been lovely to welcome back our children from last year and also to meet our new starters.

We have spent this week beginning to learn the Preschool rhythms and routines, and getting to know each other.

The children have enjoyed exploring our Preschool outdoor area, building, climbing, and making lots of mud pies and cakes in the mud kitchen.
They have also been busy in our indoor space painting, exploring rice and playdough, and making lots of cups of tea for us in the roleplay area.

We have listened to some stories from our favourite book basket including Shark in the Park, Whatever next, and Wonkey Donkey, and we have all joined in singing rhymes at rhyme time.

Next week we will be continuing to learn our rhythms and routines and also staring to explore our themes of the term; Walking in the Jungle and All about me. Our book of the week will be From Head to Toe by Eric Carle and our rhyme will be Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes
