This week has whizzed by Preschool but what a busy week we have had!
We began our week with a visit from the dentist (see our earlier post) and have continued to talk about the ways we can keep our teeth healthy throughout the week.
We have also taken part in World Nursery Rhyme Week and have been learning the following rhymes:
Incy Wincy Spider
Wind the Bobbin Up
Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
Down in the Jungle
Take a look in the photos at some of the activities we have enjoyed based around these rhymes.
As part of anti-bullying week, we listened to the story 'Mine's Bigger Than Yours!' by Jeanne Willis. This story led us to discus the words we use with each other and we thought about how the things we can say may affect our friends. We then took it in turns to think about ways we can be kind – what a kind bunch of friends we are.
We also shared with the children the NSPCC Pantosaurus song and created our own pants.
In other news, we have been busy making 'Magic Reindeer Food' to sell at our Christmas markets next week and we have begun our nativity rehearsals and have been making lots of props in preparation!
Also, a huge thank you for coming dressed in sparkles and Pudsey wear today to support raising money for Children in Need :)
What a super, busy, fun week we have had!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone and I look forward to seeing you all next week
