Year 6 News of the Week

What a strange week in Year 6. I have missed you all.

Our week has been focused on high school transition visits as children have headed off to experience their first days in their high schools. I am so proud of you all. We have chatted about their experiences and have enjoyed hearing all about their different days.

In Art this week we have used our resilience and a set of criteria to make small sculptures. We now know that we are not finding it hard because we can't do it, it is because we are doing it. Great job Year 6. A great way to spend a Friday afternoon.

We have completed our Geography unit this week. We have ended this unit by researching Wybunbury Moss.

We have also completed our RE unit this week. We have shared our knowledge by creating a piece of artwork and adding chosen words.

Our modelling unit using Tinkercad in computing is now also complete. We have evaluated our own models and also a partners. They look brilliant.

Some of us have enjoyed PE and Music this week. We are working with Miss Holland to practice our Leavers Service songs.
