Our final full week comes to an end in an emotional Leavers Service which you all delivered brilliantly. I cannot tell you how proud I am of you all and how much teaching you is a privilege that II never take for granted. You have excelled in all areas of being in Year 6 and what a year we have had.
This week we began by taking our reception friends to the Moss. We plaited grass, caught bugs, pond dipped and made nature crowns. Your kindness never ceases to amaze me as you carefully ensure your buddies are safe and enjoying themselves. You shine in our Wybunbury way.
We have spent the rest of our week putting the final touches to our studywork books and practising our Leavers Service.
On Friday, we walked to church to share our celebration of being a part of the Wybunbury Delves family and what a big part you are. You shared your messages and sang your songs beautifully and we finished with a special blessing from the choir led by Mrs Sawn. It all came together with smiles and tears and I am very proud of you all.
The final part of our week was to hand out your reports and SATs results. Like our service said, they came and went and you smashed them. It was a pleasure writing your reports and I felt like a proud parent myself sharing your SATs results. Well done Year 6. You are all stars.
I can't wait to spend our final two days together, enjoying Go Ape and our last day filled with fun.
I hope you are enjoying the sunshine.
