Year 5 Victorian Day

Yesterday, Wybunbury Delves travelled back in time. We went back to the Victorian era to celebrate our 200 year anniversary. I certainly felt like a time traveller because your costumes all looked wonderful. Thank you so much for working so hard on them and for helping us celebrate such a special occasion.

During the day, we experienced what life would have been like for a Victorian child who went to school. It was very strict! Did you know that you weren't even allowed to ask questions? That's crazy! We left the Victorian school behind and enjoyed making Victorian toys and playing Victorian games. In the afternoon, we went through our school's log book and were fascinated by the interesting things we found.
