KS2 Easter Service

It was lovely to see St. Chad's full as KS2 led our Easter Service. You delivered a strong message through Bible readings, prayer, reflection, poems and song.'The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not over come it.' -John 1:5
Lent is during spring, the season which literally bursts with new life -Light from the darkness.Lent culminates in the events of Good Friday and Easter Sunday, in the death and resurrection of Jesus. This is the ultimate story of light bursting forth from darkness, of life in death and newness for all creation.
Our Easter Service followed some of the many characters in the Easter story who have unique perspectives on the events that happen. The people who lived through the events of the last week of Jesus's life, his death and his resurrection each had their own story to tell.
