Year 2's Theme Day

What a fantastic day Year 2 have had as we celebrated our farming topic with a theme day! We all came in dressed in fantastic outfits and enjoyed lots of fun activities.

We loved making our vegetable suit as part of our D.T unit. We used our chopping skills to slice and dice a range of veg, using techniques like the bridge cut and claw cut. The soup we made from the chopped vegetables was absolutely delicious, and some of us even went back for seconds!

We also played a really cool mapping game on the iPads, where we built our own farms. It was great to see everyone's creativity and ideas come to life on screen.

Afterwards, we completed a mega quiz of all the learning we have done this term. We wrote quiz questions for each other and had fun answering them in teams.

Our afternoon was spent playing hide and go sheep, drawing, and chilling out by watching a film.
