KS1 and reception sports day

Reception, Y1 and Y2 kicked off our sports day events with some fantastic races today.

As they hurdled, sprinted and cheered their way through sports day they did themselves very proud! The children showed amazing sportsmanship throughout the whole of sports day as they cheered on their teams and peers.

The scores are now in! In joint 3rd place was the Red and Yellow houses with 71 points. Second was the Blue house with 88 points. And our WINNERS this morning were the Green house with 101 points. Well done everyone!

A huge thank you to all of the children's families that joined us this morning. You all brought your team spirit with you which helped all of the children in their races.

Another huge thank you to all of the PTA who gave all of the children an ice pop after their races. What a yummy treat!

Finally a big thank you to the Y6 team who did amazing at helping all of the children in their races and setting all of the races back up. We couldn't have done it without you!
