Our last few days together in Year 4 are certainly not what we hoped for! However, we didn't let one last bout of home learning get us down. Instead, you all rolled up your sleeves and worked hard each and every day. I couldn't be more proud to have been your teacher in these last challenging couple of years. You've all made me laugh and smile each day and I've been so impressed at your wonderful attitude to learning. You are an amazing class!

We started our home learning with a very funny angle hunt. It was awesome seeing you all being so creative in finding a range of angles in your homes and gardens! Over the next few days in Maths, we focused on lots of different topics. On one of the days YOU became the teacher. You were all fantastic in explaining certain topics and methods, I may have lost my job because some of you were that fantastic! We also completed codebreakers and cracked coordinates too!

In English, we also worked hard each and every single day. We started with some creative writing using Pobble365 and it was great to see you all using lots of SPaG devices to make your writing sound amazing. We also spent a day reflecting upon Year 4 and writing our reviews of the year. They were so fantastic to read! We finished by writing an A-Z list of all the brilliant things we have done in Year 4. There were some truly amazing lists, well done everyone!

In Book Club, we recorded ourselves reading, left book reviews and even sketched some of our favourite book covers too!

We took part in Joe Wickes P.E, coded our own mini games and even created our very own electrical scientific posters! We even held our own virtual film night of the BFG!

On Wednesday, we took part in a virtual sports day! It was fantastic to see you all taking part in your gardens and posting some excellent times! We completed cross country and, inspired by Captain Sir Tom Moore, ran 100 laps of our own gardens! Well done, Year 4!

On Thursday, it was supposed to be our Topic Day. But not for one second would we let home learning get in the way of that! So, we got dressed up and took part in so many amazing activities! From designing our own robots, to creating maths word problems are the Iron Man, it was super fun! We coded in the afternoon and had an awesome day!

Our last day together in Year 4 was sad, but also filled with lots of amazing moments. We had a checklist of activities that we could complete and it was so awesome to see everyone involved doing lots of activities on their last day in Year 4. We had stop motion movies, classmate illustrations and chill time in the garden including yoga and mindful colouring!

All that's left to say is just how amazing each and every one of you are. You have been such a fantastic class, who have never given up during these tricky times. I am so proud to have shared lots of amazing memories and moments with you all. I just know how much Miss P is going to love you all in Year 5. Have an amazing Summer and I will see you all in September.
