PE News 14.7.23

We have had our consolidation week for most classes. Unfortunately, the rain spoilt play for others!

We took tennis racquets, balls, cones and ropes out to the field and the children created their own skills and games.

We had some fantastic games created, in particular using the amphitheatre to score points by accurately hitting the ball onto each level and a variation on a reaction game where balls were hit at racquets that popped up from behind the amphitheatre!

We had tennis gymnastics, where we practised various gymnastic skills like cartwheels, that included picking up racquets and balls, and throwing balls to be hit by racquets picked up during roundoffs!

Many of us decided to keep working on our rallies, practising our forehand, backhand and overhead shots.

Year 2 moved into the hall for a Just Dance session, due to the rain. We are almost pro's at the Cha Cha Slide now!
