NSPCC Number Day – 3.2.23

What an amazing day we had on Friday supporting this wonderful cause. We had great fun coming into school in our different outfits, from numbered shirts to numbered characters, from TT Rock Star avatars to dice and so much more.

A real buzz of numbers swept through our school as we played different games and enjoyed battling on TT Rock Stars. I know higher or lower was a firm favourite along with Who Wants to be a Mathonnaire!!

Our TT Rock Stars players competed against other schools across the country and came a superb 457th out of 2950 schools. Wow!!

A huge 17,514 classes took part. Our Y2 to Y6 classes competed for Wybunbury Delves and did so with pride. The results are in and just look how well we did.

Year 4 came 9,159

466,721 pupils took part across the country. We had 117 players number crunching for Wybunbury Delves. Our top 3 players in each year group were:
Year 6 – Oscar, Alex and Sol
Year 5 – Max, Heibi and Hugh
Year 4 – Ed, Cam and Tallulah
Year 3 – Jacob, James and Ivor
Year 2 – Millie, Barnaby and Thomas

What a super achievement. We are so proud of you all.Thank you for supporting our day. We raised a fantastic £224.19 which will help children to live a safe and supported life.

Maths is definitely alive and kicking in our school.
