Amazing!

Wybunbury Delves received a surprise letter in the post today – it is from the Rt Hon Damian Hinds MP – Minister for Schools.

The letter congratulates us on our outstanding achievement in the 2023 Phonics Screnning Check – our school was in the top 4% of all primary schools in the country! Read for yourself.
A lot of hard work and investment has gone into our Early Reading and Phonics programme as we recognise the importance of these firm foundations. It has been a journey over a number of years – these things don't happen overnight! But we know that the Read Write Inc gives good foundations to our Early Years and Key Stage 1 from which they can build in Key Stage 2 and beyond!

A huge thank you to the WD team for all your hard work and commitment to getting this right for our children.
