Advent Acts of Kindness

Today is the first day of advent. Advent means'coming' and it's the period before Christmas which celebrates the birth of Jesus. In general, Advent is a time when many people are very busy in preparation for Christmas Day, cleaning and decorating, buying food and gifts, writing cards and letters, and cooking the Christmas feast. It is a time Christians prepare and reflect and get ready for the birth of Jesus Christ.

This advent we are challenging ourselves to include a daily act of kindness. As you open your advent calendar, what could you do today to make a difference? Attached is a 25 days of kindness actions challenge – how many can you complete? There is also a prayer for each day.
