Year 5 Weekly News

On Friday, we came to the end of another great week of home learning. This week was very exciting because you got to write your buddy letters. Unfortunately, we don't yet know who our buddies will be, but as soon as we do our letters are ready to go. When writing, you talked beautifully about the school, and you explained what the buddy system is all about. When the new families read your letters, I know that they will appreciate how warmly you have welcomed them into our big Wybunbury Delves family. You all did a fantastic job!

In Maths, we have been learning how to add and subtract decimals. We were using the column method to do this, and as long as you keep all the digits in the right place value column we found that it was easy.

For our afternoons, your optional activities were all focused on the environment, Thank you to everybody who did one of these and shared it with me.
