Y5 – See You On The Other Side

We have come to the end of another week, and what a crazy week it has been.

On Monday we began our week as normal, however as we got towards Thursday and Friday our daily routine changed a little bit. We played on the field and Fort Lewis, did creative activities and enjoyed just spending time with each other.

Knowing school was going to close left us all feeling a little unsure. To help us with this, we talked about how we felt, and I tried my best to keep you up-to-date with what would be happening. I just want to thank each and every one of you for being so grown up and taking it all in your stride. I'm proud of you.

We are all ready for Home Learning now, and I look forward to staying in touch with you over the next few weeks through SeeSaw and email. Remember, school may be on pause for now, but your life isn't and you still need to keep learning. Therefore, make sure you keep doing your daily learning tasks.

However, and more importantly, keep being your wonderful selves, and make the most of this exceptional opportunity you have to learn something new, develop a skill or hobby and enjoy spending time with your family.

I have loved teaching you, and it's going to be very weird not seeing our 'class family'. Hopefully, we will be back together again soon.
