Next week is Science Week! This year the theme is 'Our Diverse Planet'. Across the week, the children will be doing activities in class which will help them explore the wonders of the world around them. Make sure you check out next week's news to find out all about what they have been up to.
To enhance the children's learning, we would like you to get involved with finding out abut our diverse planet at home. We are asking the children to shrink down an animal habitat so it fits within a shoe box; the children are being asked to create an habitat diorama. Check out the pictures to see some examples. The habitats could be anywhere, from the depths of the ocean to the heights of mountain tops. When making your habitat make sure you think about the plants and animals that can be found there.
Bring them in as soon as you have completed them – Friday 13th will be the last day to bring them in as that is the last day of Science Week in school
Let your imagination run wild, be creative and have fun learning about our diverse planet!
