Our school year and 'normal' daily lives have, this week, been put on hold for the foreseeable future.
This week our children have been brilliant! They have been calm, thoughtful, amazing and just carried on! There have been many loud choruses of 'Happy Birthday' singing out from the sinks!
The week has brought many challenges for the WD team. Changes have been rapid and the amazing team have just pulled together – kept normality in class, reassured children, answered questions, planned for the new future of home-learning and reduced childcare provision plus a million and one other things. We are all so lucky to have the community and team of WD.
For many children today it has been very emotional; this abrupt end could be the end of their time at WD or in their current class – the staff have felt this too. We all have our fingers crossed that we will be back together before this school year ends. Therefore, we are not formally saying goodbye and best wishes now!
Thank you for your messages of support and thanks, they have been most welcome during these difficult times.
We know you will engage with home-learning and we will have many wonderful things to share in the new online world of see-saw!
You can keep in touch with us via the office email or with your class teacher through the emails shared today or see-saw. We may all be apart but no-one is forgotten, we are still the Wybunbury Delves Family. If you need us please get in touch and we will do our best to support you. There may be times when a response takes a little longer than you would like – we may not be able to answer but we will come back to you.
Take care, stay safe and well.
We will see you all very soon.
