So...what a couple of weeks! This weeks news is last weeks and this weeks combined after technical...
Preschool News
Preschool, you had another busy week of learning!
Your learning project this week provided opportunities for you to learn more about the environment. You created a daily weather chart, explored recycling, created a rain cloud, made a rainmaker and had lots of fun exploring ice.
For you literacy tasks you took part in a litter pick around your front and back garden or during your daily exercise then created a poster to remind people to put rubbish in the bin. Using your rainmaker you sang the nursery rhyme 'Incy, Wincy Spider'. You have also been busy completing your phonics and dough disco tasks too — great job preschool!
Within your mathematics leaning you were introduced to Numberblocks 4. Throughout the week you became '4' detectives hunting for '4' objects e.g 4 legs on a table and printed with 4 objects e.g. squares. You have also been working hard to use a stem sentence to describe the relationship between four and three e.g. "Four is made up of three and one"
Thank you for sharing all you do via tapestry and for sharing 'wow' moments too. This week we saw one of our children ride their bike without stabilisers for the first time and one of our families saw the arrival of peasant chicks.
Preschool, remember, you are all truly wonderful and I can not wait to see what you get up to this week via tapestry.
Missing you all!
Stay safe.
