Dear families,
if you are considering some activities to do over the Easter break, why not have a go at making a poster for a competition.
The Mid Cheshire Line and Nicky Thompson have come together again to create the MY CHESHIRE Poster Awards 2020. The competition is designed for Cheshire children aged between 4 and 11 in response to this difficult time we find ourselves in.
There are some brilliant prizes and when this is all over they will be having a prize-giving giving event at a Cheshire station, where the winners will see their works of art displayed on the station platform.
Simply download the template here, print it out and draw (or paint/collage/print/whatever you want) a picture of your favourite place in Cheshire in the space provided, and don't forget to include your name and age. Then take a photo of your work and email it to comp@nickythompsonart.co.uk (no bigger than 5MB).
Nicky said 'It could be anything from your favourite animal at Chester Zoo to a deer at Tatton Park, from the fabulous Jodrell Bank to a beautiful place that you go to with your family, the only rule is that it is in Cheshire!.'
There are two age categories (4-7 & 8-11). There will be a first place and two runners-up in each category. The winners and runners-up will all receive a professional set of coloured pencils. The two overall winners will have their artwork displayed at a Mid Cheshire Line Station.
The deadline for entries is 1st May 2020. Winners will be contacted by email
Good luck
