Merry Christmas Y5

Our first term together has come to an end – how has that happened? It doesn't feel two minutes since it was September. Thank you for all your hard work and effort over the term; each of you have achieved so much and I am so proud of you.

This week we have been busy study work bees. We have been writing, crafting, sticking and painting in order to get our final pages finished. They are beautiful books and are a real testament to how much you have learnt. At the start of the week, we had our celebration theme day (see Monday's post for more information) and yesterday was our Christmas Carol Service at church. The message of the nativity story was shared through clear speaking and beautiful singing – I'm feeling ready for Christmas now, thank you. Also, thank you to everyone that came to see us and volunteered to walk with us to church and back.

I have loved our first term together, and I look forward to where our learning journey will be taking us in the new year. Merry Christmas everyone, and thank you for my presents (I am looking forward to opening them on Christmas morning).
