Well reception class... our first term together has come to an end, and my goodness, what a fantastic first term we have had!
September seems such a distant memory now but I am so proud of how well everyone has settled into school life and enthusiastically embraced learning.
As with the end of each term, we have finished of all our topic work and neatly presented it in our study books. We are excited to share these with our families when they are completed at the end of the year.
This week has been a week of celebration, messy church with our parents and grandparents, watching the year 1,2 and 3's nativity, eating a yummy Christmas dinner, playing party games and boogieing at the Christmas disco! We certainly are stepping into Christmas!
And finally to end our week we have been visited by Santa's Elf number 3 who was a little lost and looking for Santa. We said we would keep a look out for him over the next few days. She kindly read us a Christmas eve story and asked us to leave a carrot, mince pie and glass of milk for Santa on Christmas eve. We certainly will!
And on that note, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a peaceful New Year.
See you all on Tuesday 7th January
