Leighton hospital has thanked us for our cards.

Home » News » Leighton hospital has thanked us for our cards.

On our last day of school some of the children were set the task to write a card to all of the staff at Leighton hospital sending them your best wishes.

These cards were beautifully written with your own personal messages. Many of you thanked the NHS staff for looking after you when you've been ill and many of you thanked them for being our heroes and looking after people in our community. You also drew bright and colourful pictures on the front that represented the NHS or the hospital.

All of your wonderful cards were delivered to the different wards and parts of the hospital today. They thanked me for all of your thoughtful cards.

Well done everyone you have been able to lift the spirits of people who are working for the NHS in these difficult circumstances and have put a smile on their faces.

Have a lovely Easter and stay safe,

Miss Haynes and the Wybunbury Delves team
