Where do I start? What a strange week it has been.
We have kept the week as normal as possible for the children although it is not normal times. At the beginning of the week, we continued with our curriculum lessons. The children made graphs in computing, have created their own Batik material in Art and learnt about Oracle bones in History.
After learning the news that school must close, we quickly had to make new arrangements. On Friday, it was lovely to be able to celebrate the end of our time with a small 'theme day'. It may have not been as I planned, but we still did some lovely activities. We made our own oracle bones out of clay, created posters on volcanoes and ended our day watching Mulan and eating cake.
I would just like to say, I have the most amazing time teaching you this year and I really do hope it is not the last time we will be a Year 4 team! I am so upset that we won't be continuing through the rest of the year and I won't be seeing all your smiling faces each day. You have all made me really proud and I will miss you all. However, I will still be with you each day as we continue our learning through the Seesaw app. I look forward to seeing all the things you do at home!
Remember to stay safe and keep in touch!
