Caterpillar Update Preschool 22.06.21

Home » News » Caterpillar Update Preschool 22.06.21

We have been watching our caterpillars daily for changes. Yesterday we observed that 3 of our caterpillars have attached themselves to the underside of the lid. We watched in amazement as two of the caterpillars spun round and round to shed their exoskeleton (see Tapestry for a video) then harden into chrysalides.

This morning, we practiced this process by spinning toilet roll around ourselves and we even had a beautiful butterfly emerge!

We can't wait to observe what happens next, we will keep you updated.
