Wow Year Two, what a fabulous day we have had. We have walked over 13,000 steps seeing the most amazing creatures. We started our day by seeing the Asian elephants and we even spotted a baby elephant. We then went to the heart of Africa to see if we could spot any animals that live in Kenya. We had a special treat as we got to have our snack time with the giraffes and zebras. We then went from here to see the lions and finish our morning with having lunch by the jaguars. We started off our afternoon with seeing some very cheeky orangutangs and chimpanzees. I think one of our favourite moments is seeing the younger chimpanzee use the rope to throw himself on the window at us. We were in fits of laughter. We moved from here to the tropical realm and dragons in danger exhibits. After seeing hundreds of different species we finished our day with penguin talk. Year Two your behaviour around the zoo was impeccable. It was even picked up on by two members of the public who said how well behaved you were and how you had such lovely manners. I am so proud of you! My favourite moments was watching all of your expressions as you looked at all of the animals in awe and wonder.
A huge thank you to Mrs Wainwright, Andy, Gill and Mrs Shore who joined us on our trip. We couldn’t have done our trip without you and we are so thankful for you giving up your time.
I am sure we have had some very tired children tonight.
See you tomorrow,
Miss Haynes
