What a strange week in Year 6. I have missed you all.

Our week has been focused on high school transition visits as children have headed off to experience their first days in their high schools. I am so proud of you all. We have chatted about your experiences and I have enjoyed hearing all about your different days.

We have managed to fit in some different areas of learning including Maths, English, PSHE, Wellbeing, Computing, Science, PE and Music. We have also managed to squeeze in our charity research for our Young Leader’s Award.

Our standout moment this week was our transition visits to our high schools. It was wonderful to hear all about the exciting experiences you had during your visits. You returned sharing stories about meeting new teachers, exploring new surroundings and beginning to imagine what life will be like in September. It has been lovely to see your confidence grow and your excitement build as you take this important next step on your learning journey.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, and hopefully, enjoy some cooler days! I look forward to another fantastic week of learning together as we begin to count our weeks down.

Just one last note. All children have now received their Leavers Service words. Please can you support your child to begin to learn them.
