This week has flown by, and we have packed so much into it. You have worked hard in many different areas of your learning, and I am so proud of you all.
Wow, just look how much we have covered this week. We have been:
- completing maths starters to keep our knowledge at the front of our minds
- completing our emotive pieces of writing in English. What a great job we have all done. They have been an absolute joy to mark. Thank you Year 6
- challenging ourselves to name the homophones in our spelling lessons
- brushing up on our sprint techniques in PE
- considered who God is and what his nature would be in RE
- learning our leavers songs in preparation for our service in music
- refreshing our knowledge in science on classification and then beginning our Year 6 learning
- learning all about health and wellbeing including what Volatile Substance Abuse is
- thinking about charities in our Archbishop Young Leaders Award lesson
- completed our stencils ready to use them in during our screen printing in art
We have two stand out moments to share with you. One was a visit from Mr Leather who is a History teacher at Shavington High School. He ran a wonderful workshop using clues and allowing us to be history detectives.
Our second stand out moment was in our maths lesson where we became business partners to create a brand new theme park. We can’t wait to take part in our next lesson.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
