Year 5 News 17.04.26

This week, in English, we have written our character narratives that we planned before Easter. In maths, we have continued to learn about fractions. Our focus has been on recapping comparing and ordering decimals and finding equivalent fractions. 

Our wow moment this week has been our computing learning. In our media lessons, we have learnt more skills to help us to create a vector drawing. In particular, we learnt about using the zoom to make our work more accurate. We have also learnt about using guidelines, changing line borders and using the copy and paste tools. 

Throughout the week, we have also enjoyed our two PE lessons, music, Science, Heartsmart, History, French, Geography and RE.
